Hello friends,

Bonfire? Wood stove heating?

You need a dry wood! For this reason, I built a wood shed in my backyard with recycled trusses beams.

My building pictures:

1: Level the ground and install deck piers

2: Attach joists to beams and form the floor

3: Build the framework for the walls

4: Build the roof structure and covering

5: Finishing and outcome

That is so interesting. I am intrigued that the whole structure is raised off the ground.  Is this because of vermin or damp?

I love the raised design.  With all the melting snow ( especially this time of year) it ensures dry wood!  Definitely saving this idea, I need a shed closer to the house!  Cheesy

Building a woodshed closer to the house is on my summer list! I am comfortable with everything but the "foundation" and deck. I admit to being vexed.
