The texture on that ocean journal cover is fabulous! I admire your talent, Wendiek. And what a sweet story, CraftyMamabee.

What a gorgeous sea themed journal cover!  I love the little beads and shells...and the textures you got from the fabric are amazing!

Lovely job...it does indeed ROCK!

Gee, you are making me blush ladies  Roll Eyes

It was so much fun, sewing on strips of fabric, filling it up, sewing again. I sew for more than 20 years brandyk (eek, am I THAT old, haha!)
CMB is just so much fun to craft for and we have similar taste, so I can jump into my stash and just go...  Cheesy I love mine as much as you do yours CMB! Carrying it around all day long!

I will try to find some time to post the journal cover. So you can all rock it  Wink  Grin

My partner is having some issues, so I was asked to post pictures of the cover I sent.
Soooo, without further ado, here it is.

The background is a light sage green cross stitch material. I didn't take a picture of the inside because it is plain material.
The patterns are counted cross stitched on an ivory background.

Subee--your needlework skills are very nice!  Such a lovely cover...the colors and design are so restful.

Cross stitch is a skill that I do not have, so I truly admire it!
