That looks incredible!  The amount of detail you put into it is insane!  Very very well done!

I love the necklace! My husband and I are huge Alien fans, and like what Patraw said, I would buy one in a heart beat!

This is scary good. You're awesome. I have never even  seen Alien and I still love it. What a lucky friend you have!

Holy crow! You got some mad skills! I can't believe that only took you 5 hours! Of course, I'm a knitter. I measure project time in months.

I third the sentiment that you could sell those. Trouble being, I'm not sure you could really afford to do it- I figured something on the order of $20 an hour, which is $100 without materials. (I would pay the $100 without blinking for a handmade Alien necklace, especially if I was at a con in full fangirl shopping mode! I once spent $25 on Fight Club soap I could have made myself. I was overwhelmed by "OMG that's cool!") $100 does seem to be the tipping point for a lot of people though. If you were going to a con, you'd have other things that were less time-consuming to produce you could make more money on to balance it out.

I'm over-thinking this. I'll go have my morning coffee and be quiet now.

I carry a bag that says FREE KNITTING LESSONS on my daily transit commute, & give a little hands-on tutorial to anyone who asks. They get a starter kit with needles, enough cotton yarn to make a plain dishcloth and a set of instructions. Swaps/donations for materials welcome!
