I'll have to photograph the scorpion! Saw it there, but it didn't get in the pics. I keep finding new little details. So cool. And the questions were the best, so silly, so informative and just a bit scary!

Its my turn to post photos in the gallery.  edelC made my geezer gift and I am still in shock with how much time, thought and care went into making my lovely gift.  It is so wonderful and lovely I wish she was here so I could give her a huge bear hug!  Well, technically it would be more like a huge squirrel hug because I'm such a light weight.  LOL.  But, you get the picture.  She used my most favorite color scheme and silhouettes of my most favorite dog breed in the world Pugs.  I'm still sitting here grinning ear to ear about it.  Even the kiddo was like "Oh my gosh mom!  That is so cool!"  And when the hubs gets home I am sure he will think the same.  And.....as if this amazing quilt wasnt enough she also packed some delicious candy from her country.  Yum!  Thank you much edelC for my package.  You have made this geezer super happy and I will treasure this quilt always!

So, I took the quilt out of the package and left it folded for the first picture.  I was leaving the front a surprize until I was ready to take a front view picture.

Then, I slowly unfolded my quilt to reveal the front and low and behold what I seen was so amazing I could not help but to stare in silence at it.  Totally awestruck with the time, care and thought that must of went in to such a wonderful quilt.  Its actually bigger then the picture shows too.  I folded some of the top of the quilt backwards so it would fit on the couch for the photo.

littlefawnpug I am so so pleased that you like it. it was quite a challenge for me and there were many many many times that I almost gave it up, but it finally came together and I really do like the colour combination. It was mostly from stash, which was great as I am seriously stashbusting this year...I will have to come up with a new combination as I have exhausted my reds!! lol..

glad it is there and glad you love it. *huge jedi mind hug to you across the ocean*

actually on the back, one of the houses is coloured in, this is because it is quite similar to my house...so that was instead of a signature. Smiley

I am so glad that you didn't give up on the quilt.  It turned out so amazing and I adore everything about it.  That's neat about the one house being colored too.  A little piece of Ireland in my home.  Smiley
