I started buying washi tape before I even knew what it could be used for...they are just so pretty and readily available at the office supply stores, crafting stores, Big Lots, etc. etc. I have seen so many projects that many of you have posted, but just never got around to doing anything myself.

Well, I am in a downsizing mode, so each thing in my house has to be something pretty, special, handmade, etc.  I found a box from Japan that I have been saving/hoarding forever...it basically had a flat lid that just laid on top of the bottom...not really practical...

I used washi tape to make a sort of hinge to attach the lid to the bottom, and then just started covering it...

Now I have a pretty box that I am going to use to store odd things like my compass, paper punch, and other tools that don't quite fit into anything else...

BTW, I just remembered that some of the tapes were gifted to me by my friend stillatthetop...I love using things that other people are kind enough to pass to me!  Free is always good, but the thought is even better!  Kiss thanks!

Yes it makes it personal and pretty!

We have a store in the Netherlands selling plane paper brown journals and all sorts of washi tapes and stickers, so you can pimp your journal and make it personal. Fun, right?

I'll keep an eye out for other washi tape project of yours!  Smiley
