I'm super thrilled by what I received from Sharalee!  First this massive kit of fabrics, padding and embellishments:

Then this twisted wire bird patch:

A patch with owls and embellishments.  Each owl is quilted:

And finally my favorite, this cat patch with cat art by Sharalee.  I love it!

Thank you very much, Sharalee!   Kiss

I received from Sharalee yesterday! And, oh-my-goodness, are they awesome!

I got a beautiful Celtic triangle patch and the coolest steampunk cat patch!

Here's a close up of the cat:

And here are all of the goodies she sent for me to use on new patches!

Thanks again for being such a great swap partner!

Sharalee, excellent patches from Ludi! I love the trees (I want to try couching, now) and the butterfly (it looks ready to fly right off of the patch)! Nice peace sign, too. The elephant is adorable, and the matroyshka doll is pretty cute and I really, really like how it can open to reveal another one nested inside! And, I'm glad you were able to get kits Smiley

roler, fantastic patches from crazyda79! I love the details on all of them, but I am very partial to giraffes, so that one has to be my favorite Smiley

Ludi, that twisted wire bird patch (on great background fabric) is spectacular! The owl patch is very cute, and the stitching on the cat patch is just great!

meowari, I love the triangular Celtic knot patch, and the steampunk kitty is so clever! And, I agree, the hat is fantastic!

And now, I have to get going on my patches! I carried my supplies on vacation, and didn't make much of a dent. I did do some "research" in the form of watching a video, and prepped one patch, but no stitching took place...

I just realised that the photo I posted of both patches is upside down! I've rotated them twice in the gallery photo editor thingy, but when I repost it, it is still upside down! I will try to fix this tonight.

super late in posting - I love these patches that crazyda79 sent me - they are so very cool. Now that we have lost Leonard Nimoy it makes that patch all that more special
love the stitching - very nice - thank you so much!

The butterfly pouch is gorgeous, those skills!  The steampunk cat is awesome, very creative!  I also love the stitched cats, Nintendo and the spock patches....this gallery is sweet!
My partner milkeway received on Monday so I thought I'd go ahead and post pics of the patches I sent her:

"crazyda79"  I love the Leonard Nimoy patch especially since he just passed last week & the stitching is neat! The other one is very cool too!
"Watsonc7"  your patches are awesome, I like the hearts the best, but the third one of the man drawing is great too!
Lovely job to both of you!

goatgoddess, fantastic geek patch duo! And, you're right, the Spock patch is now extra special. I love the detail stitching on there, too.

Watsonc7, excellent set of patches for milkeway! Great quotes and great stitching!

And, yesterday, I received a set of equally fantastic patches from Watsonc7, but the light is bad for photos, so I'm planning to take them to work tomorrow when the light will be better.
