I received from my fabulous partner mom2em this afternoon. It was shocking to have the postman bring me a huge box since this swap was suppose to fill a mug. We decided not to swap mugs since we both have an abundance. However, her mugs must be HUGE! I got fabric remenants, a tea wreath, a mug cozy, some of my fave hot cocoa, sugar scrub, adorable buttons, a heart mug rug & 2 matching cloth napkins.....lots of loot!

THANKS MOM2EM!!!

I took it as...fill a mug with something to drink and then craft stuff in addition. Oh man. That went right over my head.

Your package is awesome!! Nice work, Mom2Em!!!

I am sure your partner will not be mad. I know I wasn't Smiley Others will just possibly be jealous Smiley

I just got a most wonderful package in the mail today. Momof2, you spoiled me! I love it!
From left to right and top to bottom ~
Yummy cocoa, yummy smelly lemongrass soap and a huge marvelous mug rug (hubby actually tried to steal it!).
Then a set of heavy ceramic coasters (how did you know I needed some nice ones? Only have some crappy $ store ones). A cute pen topped with a coffee filter carnation, sitting inside a neat coffee mug, which magically matches my pot holders. Last, but certainly not least, a cute and handy set of hand warmers.
Thank you so much, I love everything!

Subee, I'm so glad that you like everything. I wanted to make a little tiny paper mache coffee house, but it didn't turn out like I wanted and I didn't have time to start over. Oh well, some things just don't work out sometimes.

(Oy.  Nothing is going right today except receiving this swap package.  I hope one of the mods sees that these photos are upside down and fixes them.  Thanks in advance, mods!)

Anyhoo....the first upside down photo is of TWO AWESOME knitted mugrugs!  One says:  "Keep Calm And Carry Yarn" and the other says:  "Ohana=Family"!  Two of my favorite sayings and I am AMAZED that she can knit WORDS!!!!!! Shocked Grin Kiss I love them!  There's also two soft dish/wash cloths and a nifty little chocolate almond bar that I'm going to surprise hubby with when he comes home from his work trip tomorrow.

The second upside down photo is of a beautiful turquoise (BIG) mug for me, and a funny travel cup for my son.  Yes, my son will LOVE it, b/c he has a very weird sense of style and humor.  Roll Eyes  There's also a box of RED VELVET TEA, which I never even knew existed and I can't wait to taste!  There is also a teacup pincushion, which I have passed on to my DDs, since they are learning to sew and are trying to make off with all my supplies!

Thank you again!

saraelise, that is an AWESOME package!  The color scheme is so peaceful!  My favorite things are the bunting and the mugrug.

These mug rugs are all so great!  I love how different they are and how they really seem to speak to the personality of the recipients.

Thanks, LadybugsAndBumblebees!  I have never really quilted before and have only done sporadic applique, so it was a total challenge to do the mug rug, but I was really pleased with how it came out, since I apparently went off the deep end and decided to quilt, embroider, stencil, AND applique all in one item.  I'm so glad smileyyogini likes it!  It was a really fun package to put together.

If I had a needle and thread, fine as I could sew, I'd sew my true love to my side, and down the creek
