Wristlets/Clutch Purses

A coworker of mine collects and sells vintage items, and she had some sample boards of trim from the 1960s that she couldn't seem to sell, so she passed them on to me. Sample board lengths of trim aren't all that useful, these ones ranging from 6 inches to 8.5 inches in length. But it was enough decorate some little simply designed wristlet clutches!

I love de-stash projects!
(Although, I did have to buy a few zippers... no matter how massive a collection of sewing paraphernalia you've got, you never seem to have everything you need!)

What a clever and useful way to show off bits of pretty trim pieces!

I love these! That turquoise one with the red trim is my favorite. Awesome idea to use those scraps up!

They are 6.5 inches by 5 inches. So it only took a few scraps of fabric to make them (I knew I was hanging on to those little remnants for a reason!)

Good work!  And the zippers always seem to be the thing that hold me up, too.

Great idea. I have so many little scraps of trim that are too small to use but too big to throw away.

They are all beautiful. My favorite is the green one with red at the top because the colors go very well together and the trim is my favorite, though I like them all.

Great idea to use small bits of fabrics and trims.
