In the recent Ninni swap, the call was for one ninni, quick and easy swap. But I made two and .....

The Yetinni Family
Note: Whistly has 4 children and they were delighted to get a Yetinni of their own...and her husband loves his too!
I left Mama and Papa Yetinni alone overnight and look what I found in the morning!
A brood of little Yetinnis hopping all over the house. Mama and Papa had proud grins on their faces as they watched the little ones play.
(Warning, leave Mama and Papa alone at your own risk!)
They are excited about traveling to Utah where they hear that there are lots of mountains and winter sports as well as Summer, something they have heard about, but never experienced.
They eat snowballs and icicles, snow ice cream and popcicles. They pick up after themselves and make their own beds.
So a big welcome to....
The Yetinni Family!
Mama and papa are made with sewn together strips of fur trim from my stash and backed with white fleece (stash). The little kiddies are white fleece...I used every scrap of white fleece I had in my stash.  I knitted the little hats and scarves from stash yarn as well. The wooden crate was from a box of donated little crates. I keep thinking I can use them, but find few uses...the time will come! So enjoy. These little guys were very hard to send off. Thank you everyone. I miss the little raucous family. But they went to a wonderful home and are being loved by a matching family. Sigh. I'll just have to make one or two or three for me.

Wow, you really went above and beyond the call of duty on this one.  They're an adorable brood, and I like the longer fur on the adults, because, aside from their larger dimensions, it helps set them apart, visually, from their offspring.  I also dig the cute little story you wrote about them and the trip to their new home in Utah.

Thank you. Lucky happenstance. I had enough fur for two fronts and just barely enough white fleece for the kiddos. And I could not really get into making 4 furry little ones. So from a stash and laziness position...it all turned out perfect.

It's funny, I seem to be most creative when I have limitations. Not the right stuff, only certain items, no money, not enough time, etc. Give me a challenge, limit my materials and time and I get crankin'.

I do get inspired and finish early on many swaps, but sometimes I just have to sit, think, explore and procrastinate until I HAVE to get going.

    So thank you!

Oh and PS: I just knew her children would want her Ninni, so I solved the problem! Even her husband got one. HE HE.
