After I made two dolls of Lydia, one of the main characters of the movie Beetlejuice, I made another character that only appears a few minutes in the movie, but she is unforgettable!
In the movie someone says that people who commit suicide become civil servants, and we see Miss Argentina working as the receptionist of the "Afterlife Office". I had so much fun doing this doll, I tried new things like sewing the cape with wire inside, so its neck can be fold the way we want. I love her hair and her green zombie skin  Cheesy
I hope you like her!

This is Miss Argentina in the movie Smiley

"If I knew then, what I know now, I wouldn't have had my little accident."

While she didn't get much air time, she always struck a cord with me--probably because she was so vibrantly colored.  It's a shame she never had a figure in the Kenner Beetlejuice toyline, although, given that's she's a suicide, I can understand why she wouldn't be a terribly appropriate play thing for children, if for no other reason than she'd bring up uncomfortable questions for their parents to answer.

Anyhoo, great fabric rendition of the character.  You should send Tim Burton some photos of your work, I bet he'd get a kick out of them!

I feel the same about her character, I was a kid the first time I saw her and I fell in love with her green skin and how fun she was, even when she was talking about suicide. Thank you so much for your words, I would freak out if Tim Burton see my dolls! Cheesy

Thanks everybody for your nice words!  Smiley Smiley
