Details of swap:

This is a sweet and simple little swap.  We will be crafting 1 sachet for each of our partners.  Sachets can vary in size, materials used, and scents, and such creativity is encouraged!  To get folks started though, we will define an "average" sachet as a cloth pillow, about 4" square, and filled with dried herbs, flowers, or potpourri.  It is expected that you will take your partner's preferences into account when crafting.  Since this swap is so small, you may choose to have up to 3 partners.  (First time swappers will be limited to 1 partner.)

Since the swap is so simple, the crafting time is only 2 weeks.  Please keep this in mind when deciding how many partners you would like.  Also, since the crafted items are very small and very lightweight, PLEASE consider being open to swapping with international partners.  When partnering, I first consider allergies, and then try my hardest to make sure everyone has partners they are compatible with, and I don't expect any one person to take *all* the international swappers.  I usually limit it to 1 international swapper per group (of 3) partners.  Please help me out, by considering this option, and feel free to message me with questions or concerns.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

Seriously considering this one, but I need to check out the postal regulations for pot-pourri type stuff for international postage.

I love this idea and have a lot of lavender and rose petals and essential oils left after making sachets for Christmas but I'm not sure that the crafting time will work for me. I'll think about it because this sounds so fun and simple Smiley.

I'm sorry, I'm out. Postal regulations mean I can't send to USA, which probably limits me far too much.

That's too bad antidigger!  And, seriously?  You can't mail dried lavender or other herbs?  Strange...

Not only can I not mail the lavender, but I'm prohibited from mailing textiles and textile articles! Huh

Well, if any other folks in the UK are interested, please speak up.  While you might not be able to send out of country, we might be able to find you another UK swapper to partner you.  Smiley
