Wow, MareMare, that is gorgeous. Love the colors!!

Phew, started the quilting on my first quilt today. Is quilting supposed to be physically exhausting?! So much back and arm work haha. I had no idea. Though maybe it's just because I'm stuffing a king size quilt through a machine with 5.5" of arm space. Cry Don't know how visible it is in the pic, but I decided to do spiral quilting and I'm using a smoke invisible thread. I think I'm going to be spiraling for a week at this rate lol.

Whoa, I personally don't have the nerve to quilt that big of a quilt on my home machine! Go you! Also, I think a spiral pattern is extra hard on the body since it's so active. That will be gorgeous when you're done...maybe treat yourself to a massage? Cheesy

Welcome lonelygamerwife! You've got plenty of time to finish that baby quilt, I'm sure some of us have still been sewing binding on while on the way to showers lol!

I need to add a scrap quilt to my list too, sooooo many scraps! How many scraps you ask? A 2 drawer rolling cart, plus a 7 drawer rolling cart, plus 7 shoe box size plastic containers (all of these are sorted by color), plus 2 giant stuffed bags that are not sorted. It's kind of scary. And yet I don't want to get rid of any of them!

Ha! True  I was lucky before the last baby shower I had acute insomnia. I ended up finishing it and staying awake through the wash cycle and tumble dry. I think I finally fell asleep around 5am only to need to leave the house by noon to drive to the party.

Ok, you have a lot more scraps! Whoa!
