Hi all!
Every year I try to make photo ornaments for my family.  They love photos so I usually do this and photo mugs.  Anyhow just wanted to share them with you.

Mini tut: I started with 3" wood ornaments from ACMoore/Michaels.   The picture part is roughly 2" x 2".  I painted the ornaments black with acrylic paint.  Then printed out photos to size.  (Note the cut off edges on the wood blocks: to figure out where to cut them I pressed them around the corners.  Each of the blocks were different so it wasn't as simple as just taking a measurement.)  Finally I used rubber cement to adhere them to the block.  I've since added some nice red grosgrain ribbon to them.

Here's the group for my mom, my sis, my brother, and us.  Each has the names of the family members on the back and various photos of them.  My fav is my mom's with her 4 grandkids.  Smiley

a closeup so that you can see how they meet up between block faces.

I liked the way they turned out and will have my eyes open for new block designs next Christmas.
Thanks for looking!
Roxanne
