This is the time of year I'm always manically making truffles for Christmas presents. This year I decided to go for the easier Oreo cookie truffles rather than the melts soft-centred ones.

I'm sure you've all made them before but if not there's a tutorial here: http://apparentlysew.weebly.com/blog/oreo-cookies

They're fantastically easy and make really rich chocolates. All you need is Oreo cookies, cream cheese, a flavouring of your choice and something to coat them with.

I used vanilla, mint, raspberry liquor and orange essence and tried custard creams as white chocolates, which were delicious. I was wondering if anyone had experimented with other biscuit bases and flavours?
