Everything looks awesome so far! Love the paper stars - I can imagine sore fingers after that. Oof!

I've been anxious to craft, but haven't had a lot of ideas floating around. I know I have a list to reference, but I just keep looking at my stash and trying to decide what else I can make, then I get overwhelmed and don't make anything, hehe.

Have been trying to clear out more WIPs and stash. Here are 26 readers I finally got laminated, cut to size, and bound. They'll be given to family members who teach PK-1. If anyone wants copies, these are all free downloads on Cherry Carl's website. Just Google her name to find hundreds of literacy materials.

Then, after frogging part of the hat once and completely frogging the entire hat later, I managed to finish crocheting this beret for my great-niece. It's made from Paton Metallic yarn. Although it looks like a flat gray color in the photos, it's actually a very shiny silver.

kbrison thanks for the heads up on where to locate the readers.  I just started teaching this year and those look wonderful.

I completed a set of placemats in January:

Ditto on the beret - its such a lovely change from the typical flat topped type.

I made a few items for artsycandice because I find her so inspiring, and she received the package a few days ago.  Smiley First, a prayer flag since I've been feeling rather inspired lately...it's an interesting mix of fabric, paper, lace and bits and bobs. The bird button (made by RubyTuesday!) was destined to go to her  Smiley

I also made her a small piece of assemblage art since she recently found it very inspiring and I love it too  Smiley

Oh my gosh, sheepblue, that's part if a metal curler in your assemblage, isn't it? I love it, and the prayer flag!

Cute flowers, how many have you made as of now?

One more granny blanket Fantasticmio, I like the pastel colors.

Meleriffic, your stars are very cute. What did you cute all the strips of paper from?
I sure understand your pain. One year, with my daughter, we made origami star leis to give to the other students at the end of the year/graduation from middle school(maybe) party. Kids often give each others leis for graduations here. I still remember the pain in my wrist and thumb!

Kbrison, great job on the books. The kids will love them.

Plaidpineapple, you found some lovely fabric for your placemats.

Sheepblue, interesting and creative prayer flag. I wonder what you put in the tiny bottles, the image is too small to see.
