alwaysinmyroom OMG that baby flap hat is so stinking cute!! My baby (she's almost a toddler now though, I guess...) will only wear hats with straps or braids to tie under her chin or else she will pull them off.

I had a very productive weekend. I finished my lap blanket for my (arctic) seat in work and also got a good start at the beads I have been commisisoned to make.

the blanket looks a little squint but thats just my DH pulling ti a bit tight Smiley

and these are the beads I have made:

Sorry, thats not a great pic, I'll try and get some better ones.

Also, made a baby ear flap hat because mini balls of yarn drive me crazy as they sit in the basket staring at me...

You would *hate* it at my house. lol

Everything looks wonderful so far! I'm loving all the yarny items - I can't knit to save my life, so they're always cool to see!

I have a few items I was going to enter in the challenge, but I've been on crafty hiatus since I'm currently on vacation in sunny Florida! Gotta remember to post pics when I get back. Smiley

now that is an interesting blanket, bushbaby!

I love to make baby hats...thank goodness my family and friends seem to keep having babies...the hat above is for a co-worker's grandson, who was born at 4 am today in the back of the ambulance in the snowstorm! Grin

Mio--seeing scraps of yarn and fabric drives me mad...I have to hide it or else I am driven to make something with it...yeah, I would go insane at your house! Grin

On the up side, you can fall down anywhere in here and have a soft landing. ^_^

yoopido - I used Patons Bohemian in the color Guru.  It's 81% Polyester and 19% Acrylic.  Seems like it would be squeaky and plastic-y but its sooooo soft!  And machine washable!  Cheesy

Machine washable is good excellent said the one who just put her wool sweater in the dryer. Ans soft is even better!

Bushbaby, that's a lot of beads. Do you already know what you will do with them?

Alwaysinmyroom, I love your mini quilt. It has such eye catching colors!
I agree about one mini quilt a month being a lot of work, but nothing surprises me coming from you. How did you manage to put 36 hours in a day? Do you have a nifty gadget like Hermione Granger?
By the way, about what size is a mini quilt?
