I hardly know what my first craft was - but one of them was sewing on cardstock. My mother drew pictures on cardstock for my brother and me, then she punched holes along the lines with a thick needle. And then we were allowed to sew with coloured yarn. I also remember making doll 'clothes' out of discarded stockings, where the foot was cut of, so only the tube was left.  I then cut holes for the arms. My brother and I also had nails and hammers and made interesting - if not very useful - things in wood.
I school the girls learnt to knit and to sew, the boys learnt woodwork. We made a work-bag in blue-white chequered fabric decorated with samples of different stitches. I wonder, if I still have it somewhere?

yes, indeed...every single WIP will count as with all of the other challenges...I think I will change the first one to say you will get one entry for every three...so if you make six red things, you will get two entries...if you finish a red WIP, you will get two entries if you make two more red things...make sense? Grin

What if it's multi-coloured? Should we count it as the dominant colour?

lol lets make a category called "Multi"...so any three multi/rainbow can be your main color, or your trump card for any of the colors you need to make three--sound fair? Grin

I have updated the challenge page...basically, I am trying to fit in as many entries as I can...I tend to give a lot of leeway! Grin

I finished three projects this evening!!

Well, definitely two. Finished the two bath aprons that have been cluttering my table. Smiley

I finished sewing the pockets on my waterbed sheets, but needed to wash them before putting them on my bed. If they stay on the corners of the mattress I'll call it a win.

Will post pics tomorrow!! Smiley

I think I will just lurk this year. I really cannot keep track of my projects or posting them or linking to them or updating my list. My brain just flits off the stuff. "I flit, I float, I fleetly flee, I fly." See, already distracted. Have fun everyone!

Must craft....must craft.....

I am so close to finishing my first item of the year, but didn't have enough stuffing. I am not going to be able to post pics right away because it is a swap item but at least it will feel good to change the 0 out of 50 to a 1 out of 50
