I love sense, crusty and easy bread...looks like you made a success of yours, bushbaby!

I must say, the broomstick lace cowl is just gorgeous, sheepblue...your yarn skills sure have developed nicely!

bushbaby...just wow!  What yarn did you use...the color combination is simply beautiful and so practical!

lindyv321 - the meatball bubble-up is the one that made me drool (well, that and the desserts, but like AIMR, I'm trying to lose weight and stay away from such things).

sheepBlue - great job on the broomstick lace!  That's something on my to-learn list (someday).  I love the soft colors you choose too.

bushbaby - such a lovely shawl with unique coloring; your swap partner did good!  I've made the no-knead bread recipe before.  In our house, it doesn't matter if the bread is dense, lop-sided or otherwise odd.  If it's fresh, it disappears!

bushbaby...just wow!  What yarn did you use...the color combination is simply beautiful and so practical!

The yarn is from a Scottish hand dyer from a small village about 40miles from where I live. Old Maiden Aunt yarns The colours I used were:

Green - Old Maiden Aunt Merino/Nylon/Sparkle 4ply, colourway "Blow Winds Blow"
Purple - Old Maiden Aunt Merino Superwash 4ply , Colourway "Pretty Floral Bonnet (big damn heroes) "

I dont know if she does international shipping, but if not AIMR I'm sure we could work something out  Cheesy

Both of those shawls are beautiful and I think that is my favorite ray gun ever!

Here's the Meatball Bake recipe https://www.pinterest.com/pin/186336503309262902/

and the sauce I used for the mac & cheese was from this recipe https://www.pinterest.com/pin/186336503309206529/

I had never heard of meatball bake. It looks delicious, thanks for the recipe. That would be great after a day of physical activity.

The bread looks yummy with it's blond crust. Did you bake it in a dutch oven or directly on a stone, or some other way?

The cowl and the shawl both look very soft and warm although they are very different.

Bookstorebabe, master raygun maker!

It was cooked in a preheated casserole dish with a lid. surprisingly very effective.
