Thanks!  I love that swap---I have been replacing so many of my icky ornaments with hand made ones from so many creative Craftster members!  It really makes our holidays special to see a tree decorated like that!

Plaidpinapple, everything is great. I like the useful stuff: hanging towels is useful to find them just where they should be and the emergency supplies organizer will come in handy. The mug rugs have adorable penguins, the withches are cute but what amazes me is the underwear. These undies look better than the ones from the store.

Alwaysinmyroom, I would never have guessed those sparkly trees were once hair curlers. What a fantastic recycling!

A couple of name pillows for a friend's children.  She is expecting another child, also with a name beginning with "C", which I will make next year after he is born:

Although the scarf and hat look both delicate and warm, although the pink pillow is very cute and happy, my favorite is the boy one but i don't know why. The red color of one letter maybe, or the rocket ship fabric? Anyway, those kids are lucky.

Thanks!  I liked the boy one best myself.  I used fabrics left over from a pillow case I made the little girl last month. I am just not into Disney and pinks....

Unfortunately, I could not give them to the mother yesterday...sadly, her MIL died of lung cancer so she is busy taking care of her family.  I will wait a bit to give them to her...maybe next month.

Fabulous pillows! I adore the rocket ship fabric. My daughter has a pillow with her name on it that quaggy made her one year.

So I completed a total of seven costumes over the last month and a half (everything homemade by me except the plate-armour on the far right pic.) There are two more costumes missing (both costumes of my own.)

costume making is such a skill!  wow--you must have worked day and night to get so many done in such a short deadline time!

My brother asked me to make a fleece throw for a friend.  I made one for him a few years ago and this is the fourth one I have made for one of his friends...he says he will pay me for the supplies but seems to "forget"....  I don't mind, because I get the stuff while on sale and I do enjoy a quick and easy project now and then...I wonder what team I will do for him next year?



I never posted these cute little toilet paper and yarn pom pom hats I made last year...oh well, I am ready to use this this year after Thanksgiving, so I took a picture.  I am hoping to make some matching beards to make the wine bottles look more festive this year.



I have a few more things to get done before Turkey day, so I better get going!
