I had to use my awful  phone for that pic, but you get the general idea of how I inserted the inner bit of the matchbox to create a chimney complete with fire inside.
The best part of this project, however, is the tiny book inside.
Here are the words...

Twas the night before Christmas when all through the place
One Craftster was battling with glitter and lace
The stocking shed made was hung by the fire,
The last blasted stitches held together with wire
She wiped off some glitter, thinking perhaps
Shed never get around to that long winters nap
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter
She sprang from her desk what could be the matter?
Away to the window she flew like a shooting star,
Nearly upending her best whimsies jar!
The moon on her snowman with the hand-crocheted bow
Gave the lustre of midday to objects below
When what to her wondering eyes did appear
But a popsicle stick sleigh and 8 Sculpy reindeer
And an amigurumi driver so lively and quick
She knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than send-out dates his coursers they came
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name
On Fimo, on Fiskars on Elmers and Speedball
On Altoids on Strathmore on Singer and McCalls!
To the top of the porch to the top of the wall
Now dash away dash away dash away all!
As ModPodge before a wild hurricane dries
As it sets up quick right before your eyes
So up to the housetop his coursers they flew
The sleigh full of supplies and St Nicholas, too.
And then in a twinkling she heard on the roof
The delicate clacking of each Sculpy hoof
As she drew in her head and was turning around,
Down that amigurumi dude came with a bound!
He was dressed in faux fur from his head to his foot,
His yarn sadly tarnished with ashes and soot.
A large glue gun stick he had perched at his lip,
Cuz these days you know that smokings not hip.
He had a pilly face but a nicely stuffed belly
That shifted when he laughed much like Aunt Marthas jelly.
He was charming and sweet, a right jolly old elf
Our Craftster just grinned in spite of herself.
He spoke not a word (amigurumis cannot)
And the Craftster was eager to see what shed got!
Then laying an unravelling finger by his nose,
And with a slight bow, up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a holler
And away they all flew, like floss two-fer-a-dollar!
But she heard him exclaim (as he pulled up his socks)
Your stocking is awesome!  Gonna go hit THIS ROCKS !

That is the perhaps the grandest literature I have read all year!  Cheesy

Your little chimney is adorable, and the poem: sublime.

EDIT: I just shared this on Craftster's Facebook page.  Grin
