For the third and final package in the Make a Friend Swap (R11) for Cackle, I knew I had to do something big! I decided to try my hand at a nearly life-sized felted hare because based on her whole Pinterest board of hare photos and crafts, I assumed that she had some fondness for them Wink

This is the biggest 3D felting project I've ever made. He started out as a flimsy wire armature (something I need to get better at making), then I added several layers of core fiber before adding the colored wool fibers. According to Cackle's measurements, the final product is about 11 inches long.

I really like how fluffy his chest is Cheesy

He's not too pretty on the inside Tongue

Thanks!! I feel like I was the lucky one! That mermaid painting from Cackle still blows my mind. I have it in my master bathroom now, so she is the first thing I see every morning when I peel my eyes open. I'm really glad I had the opportunity to make Mr. Hare, too! He was a lot of fun even though he took weeks of patient stabbing to complete Tongue
