WOO! I FINALLY got some pictures up. I received from Alittlemusthave on monday. >.< I'm sorry. I'm such a bad partner! I was trying to find the glue gun FOREVER. Don't worry, it was an easy fix but the doll came off her little pedestal. I glued it back on today and immediately took some pictures.

Alittlemusthave made me a doll of a witch and a diorama of Hansel and Gretel! I love them both!

The trees are little twigs and then there is (I think) wool of some sort for background foliage and stuff.

The doll's hair is also made of wool of some sort and The face and arms are made of shrinky dinks. I think that's so clever! She is so cool. I love her. ^^ Her pedestal is made out of a cool piece of wood.

Thanks so much, Alittlemusthave! I hope you get your package soon! and I hope it makes up for waiting so long to post. >.<

Well I have recieved from TheragingSloth and OMG I think it is one of the best things I have ever recieved? I was truly amazed at the craftsmanship involved, all totally hand sewn. She is a wonderful goat girl ( as I love goats) maybe even a satyr.
I LOVE her so much, she has a fur body and beautiful woody fabric arms and body. Her face is wonderfully made from some sort of clay and painted. Wow wow wow.....
She even has jointed knees so they can bend and clay hooves, PLUS she is amazingly big at about 23 inches long.
Rachel, I could not have hoped for anything more. I adore her Kiss and even my husband who doesn't much comment on my swaps took special attention and was truly blown away!
thankyou thankyou so much xxxxx

I'm so glad you received and that you like it! I wanted her to be a bit more... haunted but it just didn't turn out that way. At least she's semi-creepy. She is supposed to be a mixture of your "tree lady" idea and "goat girl" idea. So she's a wood Satyr. She looks very much like the pan's labyrinth faun... oh Well. lol Her face is polymer clay with acrylic paints then sealed with liquid poly-clay. Same with her hooves. I hand-dyed the fur since I couldn't find green fur to my liking to look like moss. It was all a really fun process. only thing I can say is that because you can't make synthetic fur soak in colors the green CAN rub onto things if you try hard enough. Hence my fingers were green a lot of the time I was making this. O.o Did you find the pumpkin Tea? It was sorta hidden in there...

Wow. The wood satyr is breathtaking. I think its amazing that you got the clay face to match the wood grain of the body. Just so great.
