Project Name: Carousel Steampunk Seahorse Embroidery
Project Link: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=437695.0
Brief Description: The fabric is stamped with hand carved stamps I made myself. I am doing a whole series of carousel steampunk animals, so I wanted to keep them clean with just a black outline. I plan to treat all of the fabrics of the others in a similar manner, but with other stamps that match the subject of the hoop.

Freakie, I think the pink camo might work ok with deer, since they don't see color, but not with birds, who do.....

There are women in my area who go duck hunting with their hubbies that wear pink camo then can't figure out why they can't bag a duck Roll Eyes I wasn't sure about deer as the ones who are serious about hunting and not just tagging along with their spouse/boyfriend/sibling/parent wear Mossy Oak or Real Tree camo of the more traditional variety Smiley

Ya'll need to take a trip to cowboy country. Pink camo is for formal occasions.  Wink

I live in the Crossroads region of Louisiana.

Project Name: Hoopla for swap
Project Link:
Brief Description: This is a hoopla I made for the current swap. The wings have several "zero's" as you can see. I freehanded most of it from a photo. I needed to use transfer paper for the flower petals though.

Research Project Name:  Masquerade
Team: Wordy!
Bonus Points: none
Project Link: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=437698.0

Brief Description: This sure seemed to take forever!  But I learned a lot.  I learned to interpret a design in petit point, and to stick with what is for me a difficult technique of stitchery.  The petit point is worked on black plastic window screen, with the image behind worked in my own style on cotton.  This design was inspired by the life and work of Ernest Thesiger, whose 136th birthday is today.
