Love the alphabet hoops idea!

Prompt:  December India
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points: UFO
Project Name: POW-erful Macaron Coin Purse
Project Link: not yet
Brief Description: It's bright! I did up the design and had it printed by Spoonflower, but didn't get around to making a 'caron out of it until Christmas. I'm not sure if I love using printed fabric or doodling by hand more. They each have their place, I guess. I love macarons!

Prompt: January Cold As Ice
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points: -
Project Name: Hottokeki
Project Link: I found the recipe here. It says they're Japanese pancakes. I don't know if that's true (Roler? Can you confirm or deny?) Either way they were good!
Brief Description:
Watch me connect them up:
cold characters=frequently villain=not villain, just misunderstood=if someone just sat down and talked to them, maybe over a plate of pancakes, theyd be nice=riiiight Grin

I'll be back tomorrow to comment on the latest postings, since I am still recovering from a bad cold. But, I did have a project to post from tonight!

Prompt: Red Alert! New Year's Resolution
Team: Textbook
Bonus Points:  n/a
Project Name: Snow Falling on Trees
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: I often say that I'm not an "artist," because I tend to think of art as painting, drawing and sculpture. I do know that art is much more and that the lines between art and "craft" are getting more blurred as time goes on. However, I still don't consider myself to be skilled at painting, drawing and sculpture. So, when our holiday party was scheduled to happen at "Art on the Rocks," a BYOB and learn how to make a painting place, I signed up when I saw what we'd be painting. It was a lot of fun, and it was very nice to follow along as the instructor showed us what to do. It was also really neat to see all of the variety in the paintings that everyone did. And, while it's far from great, I still bought a frame because then I'd be more likely to hang it on the wall. If you're intimidated by a blank white canvas, I'd recommend giving a painting party a go!

Thanks! It looks less spooky in person... I was thinking it needed a hawk flying in the sky, but now, maybe it needs a swarm of bats! But, I should probably just leave it alone so I don't screw it up Tongue
