on another website where I socialise, a do a thing called holiday gift giving, where regular members post lists of small gifts they might like to receive (eg used stamps, a particular kind of candy, stationary etc).and people send what they can to each other, just as a nice thing to do and be party of. One girl, who I've had.a few good interactions with, asked for a calendar with nice pictures....

So I asked around the site and got different people to contribute 12 'nice pictures' which I compiled into a calendar... I told them the size of their picture, allocated months to illustrate, and suggested themes that the recipient might like... But left the rest up to them

I collected the images people made, and drew out the date chats, added a few embellishments, made the cover and had lots of fun!

It goes in the post tomorrow, I hope she likes it!

The little yellow running book symbol is the websites logo, he's called ballycumber... The friends who contributed that picture went to our annual convention some years ago which was in Ireland that time, and included a road trip to visit a village called ballycumber, so its a sort of extended in-joke  :-)

What a fantastic gift!  You did a great job tying such different pictures together.
