Ohhh, great to hear. I'm wanting to get a cute collection together so this would be wonderful. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Grin I think in the new year we shall start.

It sounds like fun! I would probably join you a few times.  Smiley
Especially if you only need to make one! Hopefully more USA crafsters are open to send international, it isn't very expensive so that shouldn't hold anyone back!

Only 1 day left for now!  Cheesy

I joined, if there is room. Wink

And I like the idea of a monthly swap - easy to join in or take a break, if needed.
Maybe an on-going swap in the future? I always wanted to try to set that up but it seems daunting.

If it is not flat, a dotee has to be shipped as a package no matter the weight. Even two ounces is going to be $2.32 if you put it in a bubblebag.  I have complained to the PO many times that we need a small parcel price for international. But, the way I look at it, I am shipping art...Grin.

yeah, Im pretty sure its going to cost me $14.30 international, as anything under 500grams and not flat like you said, goes  as a parcel. However I agree, it doesn't matter to me whether its a huge heavy sculpture or a tiny dote, its all art and its a price I am willing to pay for craftsmanship. Smiley

My advice: keep the dotee flat!!  Grin

The same here, if it doesn't fit an envelope it is an package and it will cost me 18 euros! I am pretty good at keeping things small so it fits the envelope  Wink

Maybe they should be sent unstuffed if they need to be more 3D? I wouldn't mind stuffing my dotee after it arrived if it made such a huge difference in postal charges.
How exciting! It is the 10th today YIPPEE!!! Grin

What a great idea, stellou!  It would only take a few stitches to sew up and it would save a lot on postage!  If any of my partners wanted to send flat, I would not mind at all...maybe in future swaps, it should be one of the questions on the questionnaire!
