ChellyWood.com: Doll Patterns and Tutorials

I'm back to try my hand at downloading another of my Barbie doll sewing costume pics. As I said in my previous post, I design and sew my own Barbie doll clothes. My patterns are available on my website and my video tutorials are available on my YouTube channel.

This is one of the many costumes I've made for my YouTube production of Romeo and Juliet for Barbie (and Momoko and World of Love) dolls. I'm just having fun posting my ideas here, hoping to find friends with similar interests in making doll clothes.

I do not sell any of my doll clothes, but eventually, I plan to give them away. Right now, while our stop motion production of Romeo and Juliet is underway, my daughters and I are just having a good time making stuff for our show. The background city of Verona in this picture was painted by my 14-year old daughter.

Father Capulet will be played by Jasper (a Twilight doll), and Lady Capulet will be played by Barbie. My World of Love Doll, whose name is "Soul," will play Benvolio. (I'm using her image as my avatar right now.) Momoko will be playing Juliet, and Romeo will be played by a Texas A&M Ken doll.

I'll post more pictures later.

I love the details on these costumes. I assume these are Capulet and Lady Capulet and I look forward to seeing what you and your daughters make of the rest.

These are lovely!

I just finished watching season 1 of Reign...I admire the costumes, even if they are not true period pieces, they are so lovely. I will have to explore your other pieces...

Nice details and wish you well on your productions!
