ok newbie knitter and frustrated by the wool .... ok I am using a plain wool that I am about to lose my mind over.... I am ready to throw away my weeks worth of knitting my 2nd scarf... its broke... its knotted.... I have gone from normal scarf to wth is that.... The scarf now has holes and frayed wool and worst of all knots in it.... I don't purl just plain knit... none of those fancy knits either ... Its only about 10 inches long... any advice would be helpful...I don't want to give up

What's the name of the yarn? I'd suggest getting another one, either acrylic, a wool or a blend that doesn't have a loose twist.

There's mixed reviews for it on Ravelry - http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/bernat-bargello/comments
One person seems to have had the same experience as you. I would contact the company and complain. They're often known to give you a voucher or credit, or send replacement yarn.
