I claim rscowtown for wristwarmers! Due 11/24/14.

Hi, my name is Linda.  I live near Hershey, PA on a forested piece of land with my husband, three cats and an old black lab.
I love to sew and knit but have little time for art so most of the things I want are things to brighten my day and my workspace.  I joined this swap because I enjoy the company and I also see lots of things I want to make but have no reason to make them for myself.

I am not allergic to anything.

I want whomever selects me to do their own thing...I enjoy almost all styles except I am not really into cutesy, animation, etc.

My favorite colors are red, black, and earth tones: greens, blues, browns, golds. I mostly wear bright colors, but my home is more neutral and earthy.

I also prefer smaller things as I am trying to display a lot in limited space.  I have tons of wall space.

Here is my limited list.  I have a Pinterest account, but most of the stuff there are things I want to make, not receive.   I'll be working on updating a new board as the year progresses
for things I want similar...I prefer not to have anything copied as I respect the original artist and want you to develop your own style with Pinterest as inspiration only.

*** help me with Christmas!*****

I really want to give my sister a hoop that is related to grammar. I suck at embroidering words.  I like the one that says, "I am silently correcting your grammar", or anything along this line!

My brother really needs a t-shirt, XL, that says "BOB--enough said"...in black or dark colors...it is a private joke in our family!

NOTECARDS -- just decorated or with "Thank you" on them---I go through a ton of these due to swapping and making gifts for family and friends...no oversized ones due to postal costs...just simple regular ones
thanks smileyyogini!

HEARTS--I have collected these from Craftsters for years...I hang them on a string in my craft room...so anything that can be clipped to a string would be great: felt, knitted, crocheted, paper

INCHIES - I want to do an alphabet sampler...right now, I have none, so pick a letter or two and I will scratch them off...I would like a variety of styles from different people, so no more than 3 or 4 from one person, please
I also love bugs, cats, the color red, and graphic designs...chevrons, dots, stripes, etc.

What I have so far: A, B, C, F, H, J, L, M, O, Z

ATC's--Here I want to do my full name so I need letters!  I have the following letters already"B", "L(2)" ,"D","E", "E", "O","S"...I need the following: I, E, L, R,  N,  A. S --any style would be great!  I REALLY WANT TO FINISH MY NAME TO DECORATE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY CRAFT ROOM!!! thanks smileyyogini!
-my themes are: the color red, Asian-themed, insects, sewing, vintage, circus,

Please ask me before doing this one as I need to check to see which letters I am missing!

ART FOR MY WALLS...I am trying to cover my entire craft room with wall art...hoops, watercolors, etc. Anything not too big so I can fit a lot more artists...say nothing bigger than about 8x10..I prefer smaller, if possible - no limit on the amount of art, so please keep claiming this if you are so inclined!   Grin

BOOKMARKS are always welcome in my house...I need them because I tend to have six or more books going at the same time!

Fabric journal pages - 4x6...please make the actual page 4.5 x 6 as I plan on binding my journal...any style...I want your style!

Cat toys!  Crochet, felt, fabric....my cats are driving me crazy because they can't go out in this horrible snow!  I have been giving them corks to play with, but my dog chews them up to bits...so, any kind of cat toy would be fabulous!

Prayer flags... I love these!

JEWELRY--I love wearing longer necklaces ...I like pendants and funky pieces that make people ask about the piece--I don't want anything too dainty that will get lost in the background...but I don't want to look like MC Hammer, either! Bracelets are fine as long as they do not clang!  I am at a keyboard all day, so that would irritate me!

T-shirts:  I have lost a bunch of weight so now I feel comfortable wearing t-shirts!  I prefer them a bit large, so L- XL would be perfect.  I can wear t-shirts to work as long as they are not rude or political...at home, of course, the ruder the better! I really want one that says "Buck Furbees"!!!  I "hate" my trainer because she makes me do a ton of these!

OTHER: any type of pin or brooch for my plain coats--felted, crocheted, sewn, jewelry...I just love wearing pins on everything! I also love felted small ornaments or pins.

STAMPS:  I would like any kind of hand carved stamp for my own art...it does not have to be huge. I love Dr. Who motifs or nature motifs or plain graphics to use in my alteed art.

PINCUSHIONS:  I have quite a collection, but would love one that goes on my sewing machine or a cute picture frame one--my fav would be a red picture frame!

HOME DECOR:  I have made a resolution to decorate for the holidays...I have two fireplaces, so anything to decorate for the holidays would be great.
I would like Valentines stuff or Halloween stuff or even Mardi Gras--wreaths, buntings, whatever is cute and can be displayed on a mantel! St. Patricks day and 4th of July/Memorial Day would be great...Christmas anytime!

Felted journal cover, needlebook, ANYTHING--can be needle felted or wet felted...I love the textures of this  craft

MICROWAVEWABLE BOWLS!  I know I can make them myself, but I have waited two years and have not yet done so!  My burned little fingers would love you forever!

CAR SEAT ORGANIZER or Trash Bag!:  I have to have certain papers in my car at all times so I would love something hanging on the back seat to hold a file folder and a few other things like tissues, trash bags, etc.

PROJECT BAGS:  what can I say...I love to knit and have several projects going at once...I would love some smaller fabric buckets, only large enough to hold a ball of yarn...with a drawstring top and a loop so I can put it on my wrist...I like knitting while standing in lines or sitting at the doctor's...

Quilt blocks--12-1/2x12-1/2 size...I want to do a random block quilt and need about 9 of these! Grin  I would love stars, pinwheels, with white backgrounds

Coffee -related items: I would adore a coffee hoop--..or any kind of saying, t-shirt, etc. with something coffee...coffee fabrics?

I received three and could show them to you if you pick to make me one of these.

1. I would love hand spun or hand dyed yarns in a quantity large enough to at least make a cowl...preferably done by you!
2. Solid colored fabrics, prefer Kona, but any good quality for quilting would be fabulous
3. Sharpies, colored pencils, watercolor pencils...any color, even one or two would help. Gold and silver ones needed, too!
4. Embroidery hoops, organizer things...my floss is a mess!
5. Small random stamps or hole punches...I have so few of these...
6. Halloween or Christmas related supplies: skulls, ribbons, small figures,
7. Hexie forms--I like the little tiny ones or the 1-1/2 inch ones
8. colored ink pads--I have red and blue and black
9. Cotton yarn in small amounts for trims, etc.  I have no need for those huge skeins for dishcloths.
10. Desperately need tags...any size not too small that I can decorate and use for my finished items.  I like the natural colored ones with the holes.
11. Hand printed fabrics or batiks, hand dyed, etc. Even scraps!

I like postcards and stuff unique to the area you live in...this could include local coffees, teas, candy

I have a limited Pinterest so feel free to ask if you see anything I might like that you want to make.

I claim sweetyetevil for fabric buckets and dress up stuff.

Claims: 2, Sent 1, received 1

I Leigh-Ann, a single mom to Levi, who is 7.  We live in Florida, and I work as a nanny and go to college full time.   Levi is homeschooled.   We are vegetarian and tying to live in a more minimalist way, so functional items are much appreciated.   I also love getting supplies!   We are both very allergic to smoke.

Likes: bright colors (rainbow, citrus, ocean colors, grey+bright color, etc), batik, simple clean lines, stripes, dots, etc.  functional items, the beach, environmentally friendly things

Levi likes: homeschooling, bright colors (pink, purple, turquoise, neons), playing outside, bike riding, skate boarding, surfing, the beach, gymnastics, archery, science, history, playing his violin.

Dislikes: anything non-vegetarian, leather, lace, frilly things, fru fru things, itchy things, camo colors/print, pastel colors, red/white/blue combo,

Wish list:

I claim MommyTheMaid for forest felt animals for a mobile (due out 11/29)

This is my first claim.

Hi, my name is Anne. I live in Bremen (in Germany!) with my husband Uwe and two sweet little daughters Lea (3) and Hanna (1).  I don't like cigarette/cigar smoke, but have no allergies to speak of. Our house is pet- and smoke-free.

My favourite colours are black, dark teal, deep purple, dark brown, cream & taupe (sand, milk, stone, wool... think nature), and pink. I use those colours for the kids as well, (they also get bright light green). I like plain fabrics, or patterns like leaves and blossoms; polka dot, circles, stripes. We have decorated our apartment mostly in light colours (white, cream, wood) so colourful stuff is always welcome. Repurposed and/or used is always fine. I usually prefer cotton or other natural fibers over acrylics.  Also I'm happy to receive supply only-claims.

I've set up a board on Pinterest for this swap, links to (almost) all handmade items (or at least pictures) from my list should be here: http://www.pinterest.com/annawahnsinn/craftster-ongoing-wish-list/. Big wishes right now are here, but I have lots of things I want on other Pinterest boards, so if you find something there... Especially here http://www.pinterest.com/annawahnsinn/jewelry-id-love-to-receive/ or here http://www.pinterest.com/annawahnsinn/t-shirts-i-want-to-make/ I love the two t-shirts I've received so far and am wearing them constantly. Now I want more!

O Infinity scarf like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495762505/ or plain, or like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279496051367/
O Ironing board cover for small folding table http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495381080/

O iPod cozy (for iPod classic) - maybe a star like this? http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495381063/ - or just a very plain pockety thing. Or I'd love one with a cutout for the wheel, but it doesn't necessarily need a window for the screen as it will live at my bedside.
O Wall organizer with flat pockets, colourful like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494587827/ or cream/sand, or whatever you think would work for me (have one exactly like this already, and I love it!)
O Dandelion tablet sleeve or iphone or ipod classic case (message me for size) http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494719141/ or http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279496051387/ or see the other pins
O A floor cushion cover for the kids similar to this (I'll take care of the stuffing!) http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279493109832/ or a big squareish floor cushion http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494212631/ or... http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494320861/ (can be one solid colour) (I could still use two more!)
O Snap on water bottle holder, this style: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495191622/
O Quiet Book (closure learning type?) http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494606323/
O If anyone has a nice dark jersey fabric (solid or patterned) and maybe a serger, I'd love a very simple, plain tunic. It would have to be pretty large, though.
O Binding or bias tape: patterned or solid, scrappy or single colour...
O Swiffer cover & Swiffer duster fleece thingies
O Tote bags - rather deeper than wide, with long straps - you can never have enough!

Knit or crochet
O Wrist warmers (many examples!)http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279496093363/ this one is probably the easiest
O Fingerless gloves maybe like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495755550/
O Mittens
O Cowl http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279496399557/

O Any socks really, cable, plain, or self-striping, knit or or crochet...
O Knit hat with owl pattern http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494719195//owl-hat-4  55 or 60cm (or really large for me) in grey or a nice cool brown shade, or in crochet http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495143479/ (or the pattern)
O Knit berry baby hat http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/berry-baby-hat for heads 50 or 55 (in a similar soft purple or strawberry red; if you add pips in the strawberry: yellow please!) (we already have a raspberry pink one!)
O Swiffer cover (I've heard they work great!)

O Blank notecards - mostly as thank yous and cards for swaps, but birthdays, Christmas, or no theme greatly appreciated, too!
O Leather planner/organizer cover like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495377730/ in A6 so I can put a regular notebook and a calendar in it (or like the smaller Moleskine flex). I love plain oiled leather in darker brown or black.
O Screen printing kit (I would so love to try this!)
O Pillowcase 16 inch square, some examples here: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495381076/  http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495381077/  http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495381087/
O Mini Twister game (the mat for the fingers as well as the wheel thing) http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495377707/
O Bubbles necklace! http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495383186/
O Mini hooplas/wall art for my room in the doll house (because there is no space for a real hoopla wall and I love tiny things!). So inchies or rinchies in your favourite medium.
O Stand-up thingy for tablet (to look at sewing instructions while sewing...) (the bookish kind?) http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494649573/
O Embroidery floss cards - plain, or shaped, painted, printed... lots of those! (examples on my Pinterest)
O Simple stamp design: cute ladybug or sparrow, about one inch (or smaller; I have a larger bird already!)
O Yarn bowl - this pottery one http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494249555/ is my absolute favourite (the colour, the little stars!), but I'd love one made from a wooden bowl too. Or even from a large plastic cup, as long as it's fun to look at and doesn't topple over or hop around the room while I'm working. (If it's large enough, I can always put a stone in as a weight!)
O Anything Labyrinth for me... crochet, knit, Fimo, sewn, embroidered, whatever, useful or just pretty...
O Calvin & Hobbes - again anything "pretty" and/or useful
O Something Care Bears! But from the original series please, not the bobbleheaded new ones.
O Something "Where the Wild Things Are"... loved by me and my daughter!

Embellished / Decorated Shirts
I love the two I've received so far and am wearing them constantly. Now I want more!
I prefer a round, wide neckline, so a scoop neck or boatneck would be best (don't like anything too close to the throat). Deep V-neck would be okay, too. And I love 3/4 sleeves (or long), but tees or tanks are always fine, too. Love both cotton with a bit of stretch as well as cotton only; also very thin fabrics. Women's plus size 24/26 or 3x. As for colour, black/white/grey is completely fine, as are any of my other favourites.
If possible, I prefer stencilled/drawn/painted/appliqued/embroidered etc. over iron-ons, because these tend to get destroyed in our washing machine, even in the wool cycle.
Themes: Anything you think might work for me, or see here for ideas: http://www.pinterest.com/annawahnsinn/t-shirts-i-want-to-make/
O XKCD t-shirts (baby, natural parenting, grownups)
O Rickroll shirt for me - something like this, or completely different... http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279494328944/ Or can just be Rick Astley, without rolling...
O Again anything Labyrinth for me... Jareth, or a quotation, or... preferably in black and white (or a teeny bit glittery?)
O Calvin & Hobbes (I love: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495095892/)

Supplies (scraps or used is fine!)
O Inchie / Hexie / Rinchie punch
O DMC floss: any of these numbers for two projects:
starry night over the rhone: 158 159 160 161 162 169 318 414 612 726 729 798 809 3822 3823 3838 3839 3840 3865
midsummer eve: 931, 936 (3), 935, 904, 890 (3), 469 (2), 3363, 3346, 700, 826, 610, 907, 704, 470, 3012, 372, 437, 3046, 725, 959, 522, 833, 834, 727
O Fabric paint (favourites: black, white, dark teal, dark purple, dark brown, pink; but need the regular colours as well to make shirts and pillowcases with the kiddies) (can also be glittery, metallic or pearlescent) - I'd love the kind that doesn't have to be ironed to fix the paint
O Fimo soft (all the colours!)
O Plain white silk scarves, shawls, foulards, handkerchieves etc. for me to paint
O Always: fabric! (esp. solid black!, teals; or smaller patterns)
O Sewing thread (my favourites are Gtermann, Coats, Madeira; I use cotton, polyester and blends) at the moment I could especially use reds, purples, (both warm & cool, esp. dark), pinks, as well as basic primary & secondary colours
O Binding or bias tape (handmade, patterned?)
O Calendar stamp http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495066678/
O Metal stamping blanks & stamps (heart, star!) (oh, anything really, I only have very plain alphabet stamps)
O Embroidery floss bobbins (plain, or patterned)
O Twill tape
O Papers or cardstock (plain, glittery or pearly): Would love 12x18cm / 5x8in, can use smaller, especially in teal, cream, turquoise, black, pink/rose or brown (to be used as planner pages/dividers, for cards etc.)
O Books/magazines on (bead) embroidery, sewing (doll clothes, kids, or women plus size)
O Sewing patterns for kids clothes & doll clothes (American Girl, and baby 12inch)
O KamSnaps
O No sew snaps (refills; no tools needed) (Prym) smallish preferred
O Very large eyelets (1/2" +)
O Seed beads in 11/0, 15/0, delicas

O Tea tins / tea caddies (to be used to hold craft stuff) http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495377711/ and http://www.pinterest.com/pin/171981279495377711/ (love tea urns, too, but those might be not ideal for overseas shipping)
O Anything really (bedsheet, pillowcase, notebook, eraser, pens, stamps, stickers...) from these: original care bears, forever friends, curious george, very hungry caterpillar, barbapapa, moomins, gruffalo, cars (esp. mater, sally & lightning mcqueen), mickey & minnie mouse
