I have had a snake wreath pinned for quite some time...but it was not until I found a boat load of rubber snakes at our new dollar tree that I finally got the kick I needed to make it!

Really simple:  one twig wreath, 8-10 rubber snakes, a can of spray paint, some wire or twine--costs about $20.

I added some glow in the dark snakes but they really only last an hour or so...but I like them anyway...

Just in time for this year's Halloween!

So creepy cool!!! It's perfect for the holiday. I bet the trick or treaters will think they are knocking on Medusa's door Smiley.

Even if the glow-in-the dark snakes don't stay lit up, I think they have a cool ghostly look with their standard color.

thanks, guys!  loves2experiment--I don't mind snakes as long as they stay in the garden and don't surprise me...this wreath was really for my hubby, who likes to pick up snakes and bring them in the house to show me Cheesy.

Oh my gosh I love this so much.  I'll be going out tomorrow and now I'm going to have to stop at every Dollar Tree till I find some snakes.  Thanks bunches for posting this.

I'm no fan of real snakes (I have had a boyfriend with a snake as 'pet', bleh!) but this is an amazing wreath for Halloween!! Creepy cool!  Cool

I agree that the glow in the dark snakes spice it up. I've fallen in in love with glow in the dark since I got items from suereal  Grin

Fab! I love the contrast between the different snakes too. The glow in the dark ones look slithery to me Grin
