I received from rscowtown. It is so awesome! Everything that is wonderful in my heart!

I wanted something more artsy than literally and she did this great mixed media piece for me. Of course you can see the pups in my heart!

Thanks for the lovely comments, everyone!  There is some incredible scientific photography out there.  I'm new to this craft but I'd love to see what others in this swap could do with some of those images - there were dozens of beautiful pictures to be crafted in the science photo library.

I love the stitched notebook, there's a wonderful depth to that heart.  The RBCs in a jar are really beautiful.  I, too, found that humerus and want my own punny mug.

The mixed media heart is great, too.  I really like the printed background and the cute dogs are a bonus. Smiley

My parcel from mialesca arrived in the UK on Monday but somebody else has signed for it in my place.  I've been knocking on doors of neighbours and shops trying to figure out who they were (I have a name but its nobody familiar)!  I hope that I find it soon.

Oh, I love the microscopic embroideries!  I've always loved microscopic views of anatomical subjects.  What a way to make gory things look beautiful!

whenindoubtsew, I'm a bit jealous of all the awesome jewelry!  I can't decide if I like the bracelet, the necklace or the pendant better.  Lucky you!

rscowtown, love the mixed media collage.  And how wonderful that you personalized it for kittykill!  Exceptionally heartfelt (pun intended), lol!

Someone in avocadoeldorado's apartment complex took my package for her as hostage... Sad
So I will post pictures of what I sent, hoping the package will turn up soon.

I made her a an axial brain cut of a human brain in original size. You can see the different layers like grey matter, white matter, the dura mater, etc.

Because I am a vet assistant I couldn't deny myself to send her a "guinea pig brain" of which I have no good picture  Angry
Last I made her some brain-cookies with walnuts as brains on top

I hope avocadoeldorado will find the package soon.

Oh my goodness, Nina. I am going to have to get hold of my package somehow because that -LIFE SIZE - axial brain slice is so beautiful! What an incredible level of detail, and it's educational too!

The cookies made me smile with the walnut brains, what a fun idea.

I'm really glad that you sent me a guinea pig brain, although I shudder to imagine its extraction.

I'm so sorry that the parcel has gone missing, I hope that its captor is treating it with respect.
