So I made another MH altered doll! This time it was for my sister in laws birthday! She is an avid collector of MH dolls and she loves Dios de Morte. First, I completely erased her face(with Tia Dalma I left her irises and pupils.). I repainted her face and boil curled her hair. I hand stitched her clothes. I definitely need to get better at the hand sewing. My daughter took most of these photos, her poses were so perfect!

And one in progress shot!

Lovely custom job! The facial repaint, hair, and dress are all stellar!  She'd be a fun friend for Skelita Calaveras.

She's so pretty!  I love her hair.  What kind of paint did you use for the faceup?  I use the cheap acrylics, but they always goop up on me.

I use artist acrylics. Liquitex, golden, and Daler Rowney. The key is to have patience and do thin coats and let them dry completely in between. I didn't have enough patience and she did goop up a bit. Thanks!!☺
