Hi all, as my name suggests, I am a crocheter (don't hold that against me, haha), however, I have been branching out into knitting recently, and have gotten quite good at it (technically I earned to knit a bit long before i learned to crochet, but then I found crocheting easier, so I took that up), since I found that I like how a lot of things look when they are knitted as opposed to crocheted.

Anyway, I've gotten into knitting, and I am being commissioned to make some children's slippers. I know exactly what they are supposed to look like, colour and everything, the only thing is, I have no idea what dimensions for size are.

I know that they are for a 1 year old, with size 5 feet, but I don't know how many inches/cm the bottom needs to be, how wide they need to be, how tall they need to be, or how long the piece around the leg needs to be (I can probably figure that out, but it's the other parts I'm not sure of).

So my question is, can anyone help me out with measurements, for this particular sizing? And does anyone have a link that would show all the measurements for the various sizes? If so, that would be a huge help to me Thanks Smiley

Here's a generic foot size chart - http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/footsize.html

And here's one for babies and children - http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/size-chart.html#foot
There's some generic patterns on that site too.

Between the two charts you should be able to get the right dimensions.
