Hi all!

I refound my love for crochet and can't stop  Smiley So here are a few of my projects.

African flowers, these were for Calabaza in the IYP swap. So fun to make, quick and relaxing.

This was made with the puff stitch. I fell in love with the looks and had to learn it! It isn't difficult, but it took a few to get it more even. I am pretty proud of this! I did have a pattern, but that didn't work for me so I went with what looked good. It is lined and handsewn onto the purse frame.
Also for Calabaza for the IYP swap.

I received such a cute little jar with cozy like this one as a thank you-gift and had to try and make one myself. I used a large glass jar and tried a pattern I liked. Simply single and double crochet, nothing fancy. I really like it! Romantic with a large candle...  Smiley

Thanks for looking!  Cheesy (c&c is always welcome!)

The jar cozy is so sweet.  I wish I had more uses for jars, but have already saved too many that are interesting shapes.  Maybe I'll feel more justified if I cover them.

The coin purse doesn't just look good, it looks great! I ought to know! The flowers are so bright and make me so happy. The jar cozy is a neat project too!

Oooooh !!! love love the puff stitch purse !!! Totally adorable, and I love the look of the puff stitch ! (had a white baby hat found in a thrift store, loved when my baby girls wore it)

Thanks for the inspiration, now I want to try the puff stitch too... and might need a puff stitch purse !  Tongue

Thanks all for your nice comments!  Cheesy

I just like crocheting so much, it is relaxing, not too expensive and you can bring it with you. So a good thing to do while waiting, driving along in the card, and so on.

You should try the puff stitch, really not so complicated at all! It does look that way, the only 'tricky' part is to create loops of the same size. You can find lots of tutorials on youtube. That helped me a lot. I made two and then crocheted them together.

@ liliv, I think it is easier to learn than sewing. Plus if it doesn't work out, you just pull the tread and start all over again, haha!  Smiley

I also crocheted a poncho, a monkey and a cactus... Now to find the time to take and post pictures...
