I made this Flower Ripple Blanket for a friend who is pregnant. You can find the free pattern on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/free-smoothfoxs-flower-round-ripple-12-point

I was trying to use up yarn odds and ends that I happened to have left over from other projects, so I didn't follow the color changes used in the pattern.

Those colors you put together from your stash are really very lovely, mel!

Your friend is going to be pleased...it is also a neutral palette, so the kiddo will enjoy it for years!

I LOVE your color choices!  Beautifully done.

I've been meaning to get up the nerve to try a ripple or star ghan.  Going to have to add that to my ravelry library.  Thanks for sharing the link!

Lovely blanket. You choose colors that go very well together.
