I did these hand stitched sculptures for the taxidermy swap. The bear hoopla is done with a standard bear pattern on a simple fabric wrapped cardboard circle. The lace is from an antique flower girl dress.



The narwhal is swimming on the mug rug so his head and tusk are dimensional while his body is flat. I cut out a standard half ball form and used a scrap that happened to be that size for the tusk.
