Fluffypants, i appologize now that i forgot the add a card in with your package.  In the rush of getting it sent yesterday it was the last thing on my mind. Lol

Hehe! No worries. I almost forgot yours but saw it on the sewing machine as I was about to tape up the box. Smiley

I usually do at door pick up too but the box was so big this time that I dropped it off before work. The post office has a will call where you can drop off and pick up before 8am.

We have a 24 hour machine near us that I like to use - I really like that I can fiddle with things myself there. I brought the box unsealed because I was sure a flat rate box was going to be cheaper but it turned out it wasn't.

I like the idea of a flat rate box, but my items tend to be odd shaped and never fit in the silly things.  Tongue

That's always my problem. Inevitably, I wind up with something just ever so slightly wonky size or dimension and it's a mad scramble to find a suitable box!

Speaking of though - beeker! I apologize for my tardiness. Your box is going out with my carrier today. Grin

I was actually able to use the flat rate boxes for this swap.  But, that's because most of the items I made where squishy.  So I just molded and shaped everything to fit in the box.  And I almost always have the postman pick up my boxes at our house.  Because we only have one vehicle so getting to the post office is a task.  However, I can't get my printer to connect to my lap top for some odd reason.  I swear printers have minds of their own!

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

I was able to use a large flat rate box this go round too!  I weighed the original box and found that the flat rate would save me $10 so I repackaged and printed out my postage!

The best thing about flat rate boxes is they go priority.  kittkill you should have your package by Friday!

I'm sending out today after work. I walked out the door two days in a row without my parcels...
Travelling by bus makes things very difficult to get to the post office sometimes. :p

I will often pay a couple dollars more for a flat rate box and priority shipping is just one of the reasons! I also don't have to find a box, or buy a box! It used to be a deal because the DCN was included, but now, I think they all get a tracking number.
