AAaaawwww... thanks for the kind words. I'm just so glad that SonjaBoo loved everything. I had tons of fun doing this.

I actually found that picture of the creepy lady at an antique store the day we got our partners!!! As i was cutting her out, I was hoping that she wouldn't come haunt me Haha Shocked  This was my first shrine ever so it was neat figuring out what to put in/on it.

The pin up girl was my favorite to make. It was hard giving her up, but I knew she was going to a good home.

What fun packages to kick off one of the best swap galleries!

I received today from rockingbearranch and my kids are having fun with part of it!

First, here are all the goodies spread out!

This guy is so funny...my kids love him!

A delicate Halloween pumpkin egg! This is a real egg! I put it in a special place to display it through the season & the kids know this is not a toy. (it came in the cute tin with the handmade 'cobweb oil' label)

And the most fabulous Halloween advent calendar ever! We just have to spin the wheel a little & a different # & Halloween image shows through the window! So clever & awesome! I love the design of the whole thing...it's wonderful!

Close up view:

Next to our ghosty lamp for scale:

I also received an envelope with feathers & will come up with a proper project to use them! I love the extras...tell the chickens thank you from me & thank you so very much rockingbearranch... we will be loving your creations for years to come! I'm so glad to have been paired up with you!

I really needed a smile today after having to say goodbye to my old girl Gracie (mini schnauzer) yesterday.  I received my package from gotgrey, which definitely put a smile on my face - AND she really spoiled me!

Here is a pic of everything together:

First up, a really cool Halloween shrine montage:

There is a witch with 3-d broom, a cat, a bat, and a vintage-y moon in the background smiling over them all Smiley  I love the details on everything; his face made me smile!

A wreath that also displays gotrey's mad drawing skills with an *ahem* anatomically correct bat

And the piece de resistance, a witchy doll!

I love her sweet face, and the fact that her hat band matches her dress...

And her adorable socks and shoes!!!

On top of all that, there were three pose-able skeletons (I had fun arranging them arm-in-arm), an oven mitt, and two wind spinners which will be great for my front porch!

Thank you so much, gotgrey, you really brought a smile to my face when it was most needed!

Some really cool stuff showing up in the gallery!  I'm so glad that you liked everything cabaute!  The bat on the wreath, the cat and the bat in the shrine are images you had pinned to pinterest.  I hand drew everything onto water color paper because it's stiff.  Then I colored them w/colored pencils, and cut them out.  I looked up a vintage image for the moon.  It's hand drawn too.  On the back of the shrine, those are leaves I collected from our tree up front, last fall.  I pressed them last year.  They are decopauged on.  I felt like the witch doll had a 50's child vibe to it.  I wanted to send more, but, I didn't want to overwhelm you, or make you feel like I had send too much.

It's kind of funny, but, I have a feeling there might be quite a few shrines in this swap.   Grin  I'm so in love w/that house and that shrine is amazing!
