Hey everyone! Looks like it's been a while since anyone's posted for Ontario. I'm brand-spankin-new to the Craftster community, but would love to see a show of (virtual) hands of local crafty people  Smiley

I'm from Toronto, but recently moved up to the 'burbs (short term basis, hopefully!!). I've always loved crafting and would love to learn of Toronto/GTA based craft events.

Mother. Baker. Business Owner. Writer.

I love all things cakey, crafty, nerdy and fun.

I'm surprised the Ontario thread is pretty quiet but thought I'd just jump in and say hello from Toronto as well!
Crafting keeps the madness at bay. Or is it the cause?

Hi - I have not bothered checking out the board for awhile because it has been quiet.   I am also Toronto, living in Scarborough, and part of the meet up we had in June.

Usually I go to the Creativ Festival in the Fall and take part in their workshops and it is great.  But this year it is a huge disappointment - moving out to the International Centre in Mississauga, cutting back a day, not coming out with any workshops or any information until about 2 months beyond their norm.  So I have been looking up some various other places in Toronto that offer interesting workshops and venues for creativity.

The TDSB also offers a lot of adult classes in their catalogue, but I have pinned a variety of other places to check out if you are interested also.

Please share if you know of others!
