Post your collaborative creations here! I can't wait to see.

Please try to set up your post as a Before (what you sent in Phase 1) and After (what you got in Phase 2). If necessary, see if you can coordinate with your partner to get the pics in one place so everyone can see the evolution of the hoop. Smiley

The different colored floss in the spikes works really cool. Good job, both of you!

Ugh my phone decided to completely quit on me, so I'm going to have to wait until my husband is around to post pics. Sorry for the delay, SiakelA! I can't wait to show everyone my cute hoop!

I received my embroidery from ffrog yesterday and it is outta sight adorable but I don't want to post pics before she posts the before image. I am one of those absent-minded folks who forgot to take before pics.

First up!  This is generally the piece I started with.  You can see I started working and went "oh crap!  I need to take a picture!"  So the only thing in this picture that I did is what's in the elephant's trunk.  SlickMariaVic will post the finished picture!  Cheesy

What I sent SlickMariaVic was very simple.... it was just the outline of the treble clef.  That's it.  And I love what she did with it!

Here's a close up of the flower!  I love it!  Is it sari-silk or something similar that you used on the flower to make it look that way?  Its nothing I would ever have done myself and I just think its so cool!  Cheesy

Thanks for being an awesome partner!  Cheesy

oh wow these are so cool!  I'm definitely going to have to join the next round.
The hedgehog and flower are so cute!  and I can't wait to see the finished product of the elephant.
And the music note and flower are so beautiful!

Wow! The photo you took of the flower really shows the color well. And yes, I did use some salvaged sari silk yarn. Here's a before picture of the treble clef.

And Ffrogg526's additions to my little circus elephant will be hard to beat.

Isn't it freakin' precious?!? I sent her a photo copy of the vintage elephant pattern so she could see the original umbrella is held in its trunk.  I had no idea she would go so far as to add some of the other circus animals in the pattern. Very bright, cheery, and dimensional - just what I wanted.
