I found this old Batman sheet at my Salvation Army and decided to make a dress out of it. The top is made from this pattern http://www.lekala.co/catalog/dresses/5199#model and the skirt was made using this awesome circle skirt calculator http://byhandlondon.com/pages/circle-skirt-app.

beautiful upcycle of a sheet!  The black touches makes the dress sophisticated but the Batman print keeps it fun and youthful...you did a splendid job on the entire outfit...I am very impressed that you placed Batman in the perfect focal area...not only pretty, but well executed!

This is a stunning dress.  I love how you used the black fabric to show off the print. Thank you for the pattern links.

This is beautifully crafted. The fit looks absolutely perfect on you and the print is so fun. You gave that batman sheet an awesome second life Smiley. Congrats on winning a "best of" award. Well earned!!

I made an A-line skirt with that same sheet! Grin  I love your dress, very nice fit, great detailing!  The black edges work wonderfully.

Gorgeous dress and the way you have recycled a sheet to craft this one is such a cool idea! The black fabric which has been added to the dress highlights the print perfectly and adds to the appeal. And the way you carry it makes it even more ravishing, good job!!
