I'm making up my daughter's spring gear at the moment. As there are buttons down the back of this top, I had the idea to make some wings that could be taken on or off, as the mood takes her.  I really love the idea that she can have a load of wings and a load of tops or dresses and mix and match them, and it has loads of potential for different wing shapes, like butterflies or fairies, old fashioned floral, bold prints or plain neon fabrics, and themes, like Christmas angels or bats for Halloween.

What a wonderful idea! Please give dimensions for the wing span...I am looking for iSpy quilt fabrics. Perhaps we can PM a trade. And give her "new wings" to fly with? I have bunches of girlie flowers and prints. Or...put her in camo? I have boy prints, too  Grin
