I sculpted an anatomical heart out of stoneware once for a project. It did not survive the backyard firing, but I made the best of it. You can see it on my website here, scroll down. I have wanted to make another because I really wanted to have kept it intact. But in the end the message was appropriate to my project. (It was for a class assignment.) Our heart breaks, often unexpectedly. Sometimes all we can do it pick up the pieces that are left and put them back together to make something new.
