Yesterday i tried a few things for the first time

- Painting a large-ish canvas
- Painting Koi fish and a peony flower
- Painting in a "Tattoo" style
- Using acrylics properly for the first time since high school 4/5 years ago.

Quite chuffed with how it turned out.
Took in total around 5 hours Smiley

W.I.P Shots

The blank canvas..which i managed to accidentally pop finger prints in.

1/3rd of the way through

I hope "chuffed" means beautiful. That is how I see them, anyway. Quite pretty. I think these would make a wonderful tattoo, either separately, as in just the rose, or one fish, or all together as you have them. And a wonderful painting to display.

Whoops. Peony. Sorry.

I love this! Now I just might have to finish the koi painting I started on 1,5 years ago Tongue
