I made this Unicorn Macaroon Purse for my partner in the What I Am Best at Swap.

I used this tutorial at Craft Passion. It was a lot of hand sewing. You were supposed to sew the inside lining in as well, but I was tired of sewing, so I glued it in.

For the unicorn, I found a free coloring page online, and edited and then shrunk it. Then I embroidered it on some fabric before cutting out the purse pattern. I've never embroidered something that small before and it was kind of tricky, but I think it turned out well.

I love tiny things!  It is adorable!

I agree that gluing the inside is the way to go...there is a lot of hand stitching in making these...bleh!  But,it turned out great...and I loved that you put a pair of earrings in it for your swap partner!
