I belong to THIS art abandonment group on facebook. If you're unfamiliar the gist is: make something, leave it in a public place for a stranger to find. It's a lot of fun and a very freeing thing to do. This month the challenge was to thrift a piece of art from a second hand shop and repurpose that to make something to abandon. I bought this bunch of old frames...

and filled them with little collages...

I'll be leaving them around town this weekend! I hope nice people find them Smiley

I enjoy being a dame.

Oh, I would love to find one of these!! Love the collage and the colors - always beautiful work!

I'm a part of the Art Abandonment group as well - haven't done anything since Christmas, but it's so much fun!

You ever start thinking about something, and then hop onto Craftster and find the answer you were looking for? This is one of those times. My MIL gave us a storage box FULL of frames that I have been mulling over. Abandoning art in them sounds like a fun idea! Grin Thank you for the inspiration!

All of your frames are lovely Knickertwist, but I really love the Old Friend. She's just extra sweet for some reason. Grin

I found a piece of abandoned art in my Doctor's waiting room. It was just a tiny picture of a coffee cup, but it made me ridiculously happy Cheesy Your art work is lovely and some people are going to be so happy to receive such a gift!

There are going to be some lucky finders with these. I wish the largest one was hidden in my house!

Goodbye, Craftster. Thanks for the memories.
