I'm one of those people that's never had any nails as i've always chewed them off (Ew, i know)
I've had a nail art kit sitting about for about 2 years now as i'd planned on giving up the nasty habit and being able to finally be a real girl and paint pretty nailart.
(Or not so pretty as my personal tastes are more creepy/dark)
After talking to my sister who's very beauty obsessed about her starting a career in nails i decided to finally give it a go and paint my own.

These are the results Smiley

Here's my little kit
(That i very quickly abandoned for something i felt more comfortable with...acrylic paint!
I fured as i won't actually be wearing them, they were merely for practicing the paint would be fine and it's all been sealed in with a big layer of clear nail varnish)

All set up and ready to go!
At this point i dived into my folder of nail art pictures i've saved over the years...felt a little overwhelmed. Gave up and just winged it!.

What do yous think?
Any themed pieces you think i should try?

I chewed for 33 years! I now have nails, but they are not pretty painted. I keep mine short, and use them as "tools" which I know is a "no no", but works for my mini projects.

I quit chewing when I moved into a campground, and had dirty fingers all the time  Grin Five weeks without nibbling stopped things. {I am now 47}

Nail art is pretty, and yours are cute. But, keep in mind that the acrylics are not good for nails. Nails need to breathe. And fungus grows up under them. I have had friends who lost fingernails due to this. And what grew back looked like a witch owned it.

For short periods of time, it is fine. But it is best to rest between the paint, and let them stay natural.

Just my two cents. But a wonderful painting project, all the same. Now come and do my toes?  Cheesy Just kidding.

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

There's hope yet then!, Mines tend to disappear when i'm thinking up projects, which is all the time :')
I doubt i'll ever actually paint my own, don't have that kind of patience!
Aware of all the dangers as a few of my friends are qualified nail techs and told me the horror stories, some sound awful!
I'll stick to just making up designs i think ^_^
