I was greatly inspired by orcagirl2001's, on DA, wonderful drawstring bags (which you should check out, they are wonderful). And then when I realized that they could be used as dice bags, I had to make some!

I saw these pieces of fabric and instantly thought Totoro! I made each Totoro and spirits out of felt, then painted the faces and body markings with fabric paint. One big bag has Totoro on both sides, while the other big bag has Totoro on one side and the Spirits on the other. The small bag just has the spirits, one on each side.

Oh my gosh, these are absolutely AMAZING!  The Totoro/sprite appliqués look perfect, and the fabrics you chose are wonderful (they make me think of furoshiki).  I really, really do love these bags.
