Ooo...I'm so intimidated by wallet patterns, but I just bought some fabric that screamed wallet to me...I might have to give it a shot. Do you have a tute or pattern you like, Acadian?

I'm plugging away at my embroidery...I think I'll be done with the black lines tonight. Contemplating adding a flower frame.

I like that batik fabric so much. I have some in blues and purples that I just used to make a pouch for a friend.
I made a wallet using the babyangel pattern here years ago:
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=217943.msg2423863#msg2423863

Today I finished a project I started 11 years ago. I have nothing to say for myself, that is just a shameful amount of time to haul a UFO around. Sad.

There's a mini tute here:
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=140050.msg5433452#msg5433452

I did something every single day, not a completed craft but I really enjoyed working consistently and am going to try to keep it up. There are still a few swap items in the mail, I'll update my list post once they're received. And I'll keep on posting projects in the 50 in 2017 thread and destashalong. Hopefully I'll have some interesting things to share, not just boring mending.
This has been fun, thanks guys!

soooo,  i had good intentions and to be honest I probably really did make something most days but it takes a lot of work to take pics and post something regularly. great job on a month of making stuff and recording it!

craftylittlemonkey, they get to keep them and take them to all their donations in the future!  J

Last two days were spent finishing up my Postcard Project for the Nerd Games... I made a post about the project:

https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=451730.0

I doodled 15 postcards in the last two days... I admit the last few were a little rushed and sloppy, but I just wanted to get them DONE.

WHHHHHOOOOO!  I'm so stoked I did it, but also soooooo glad February is over... *collapses in exhaustion*

Abbee I actually use a pattern that I developed myself. I used to sell wallets on etsy, but I've let that lapse and now only do them for friends who request it. Maybe one day I'll make a tutorial for craftster. Here's what this one will look like: https://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=709416&ppuser=138272 Single fold, small zipper pocket, cash pocket, and card slots pointing to the fold so if they slip they won't fall out. And an attached elastic to keep in closed in a purse.

Smeddley I am in awe of your postcard project!

Well I'm sad to say on the last day of the craftalong, I didn't make squat. Been fighting a headache so I wasn't really up for finishing the wallet that I'd planned to do today.

But I wanted to say a huge Thank You to everyone who joined this CAL, no matter how many projects you finished or how much you posted. It's been very inspiring to me seeing all of your creativity, and I haven't been this consistently active since last February. It feels great to have gotten so much done, and now we can rest. Happy crafting everyone!

Thanks for hosting, Acadian! It was definitely fun.

I'm kind of glad and sad that it's over, haha! Smiley
