I received from SenatorOrgana!

Here is the card, so cute!

I absolutely adore this, it's going up in my office:

As is this!  I had this on my pinterest but didn't think anyone would make it for me!

and this tree is adorable!

Then there's a darling bag with TWO different straps to use.  This is the long straps and one side of the bag:

this is the other side of the bag and I put the short strap next to it:

A beautiful necklace and earring set:

A cute jar that looks henna'd! I'm keeping it on my nightstand for misc. stuff:

A couple of nail polishes from my fave brand!

Everything was darling, thank you so much for sending me such lovely items!!

I got my package from gamemom42 today!  I went home for lunch and it was waiting on my front porch.  Smiley

Everything all neatly wrapped.  I love the flowery tissue paper!

I asked for decorative things for my walls, and gamemom42 made me this really neat mixed media art piece.

It's painted, collage'd with map pieces, and stamped with happy yellow butterflies!  I think there might also be some bubble wrap stamping involved..?

Also for my wall, this lovely little embroidery of overlapping multicolor spirals!  I can't believe how neat and precise the stitching is, and I love the little pops of red.

Next up, some super-cute embroidered felt goodies.  The rainbow star is actually a refrigerator magnet!  I collect fridge magnets, and I love this one to bits.  Smiley  The square might become a pincushion, or I might leave it flat and use it as a coaster - gamemom42 left it open on one end so I could choose, but I haven't decided yet.

And now, my favorite part of the entire package: RAINBOW TREE!!

This makes me so, so happy!  Every time I look at it I find new bits to love.  Flower beads!  French knot hearts!

Stars!  Butterflies!  I love how the outline of the branches was done with strands of different colors of floss held together, it makes a really cool effect.

I'm not finished yet!  Also included in my package were these two craft booklets, "Bargello Basics" and "Loom Beading Indian Style."  I enjoy learning new crafts, and these look like fun!

And finally, gamemom42 sent me some crafty supplies.  I got a wooden star to embellish, glass beads (which I can use when I learn loom beading!), and various sizes of embroidery hoops.  I was especially excited to see the hoops, because after making the doodle tree that I sent to gamemom42, I decided I like embroidery - but I had sent her my only hoop!  Cheesy

Thank you so much, gamemom42!  Everything is wonderful and I love it all!

As for the microscope slide pendant, it's made of microscope slides, with the picture in the middle of two of them. I'm really glad you like it, as that is really the best theme ever!

(p.s. the tiny canvas bag is also a BSG nod. I didn't fit much in in the way of sci-fi nerdiness, which we share, but I got that little reference where I could!  Cheesy)

Ohhh I totally get it now! I was thinking "slides" as in, something that moved! Hahaha. That makes it extra awesome. Smiley
And I thought that design looked familiar!! Yay, that's great, thanks!

SevsOnlyGirl, so glad you like everything Smiley I was going for nicer colors on the "miserable cow" print, but the printer I was using at the library would NOT cooperate - those colors were brown and light blue on screen, and printed out black and green  Huh  No matter what I tried, I could not get the result I was going for.

The jars make great little lanterns - nothing bigger than a tealight though! They are so pretty, I have a hard time selling off some of the ones I make, I love them so much. (Oh, they do NOT make good vases, though - the inside is colored with mod podge and will get all gross if wet.)

Sheer luck on the nail polish brand being your fave  Cheesy Glad you like! I bought myself the same glittery blue... couldn't resist it.

I am really loving all the embroidery in this swap.
And where does that bellydancer fabric come from?? I see that image all over and I really like it.
That monster bag is totally adorable.
